I live and work in the traditional territories of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples, including the Songhees Nation, within the lands governed in part by the Douglas Treaties, in what is now known as View Royal, BC. My instructional design work with Thompson Rivers University is connected to Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc territory within the unceded traditional lands of Secwepemcúl’ecw, where teaching and learning have taken place since time immemorial. I am an uninvited but grateful visitor and settler in both territories.
